The IAALD 2013 World Congress of the International Association of Agricultural Information Specialists was hosted by Mann Library, Cornell University in Ithaca, NY, July 21 – 24, 2013. BHL presented a poster at the event.
IAALD Poster Session
The BHL poster, entitled “Biodiversity Heritage Library: Supporting Research with Open Content,” was authored by Constance Rinaldo, Bianca Crowley and Boris Jacob and showcased on July 23, 2013. Presented by Marty Schlabach and Mary Ochs of Cornell University, the poster provided an overview of the BHL and highlighted some of the tools and features which BHL offers. Some attendees were already familiar with BHL but many more were excited to learn about all that BHL offers as a free, open access project.
We were also very pleased to have global representation with members of BHL-Africa, Gracian Chimwaza and Blessing Chataira, also in attendance.
